Why Love Brings Up Its Opposites
“Love is the highest vibration — and anything that isn’t love has to surface on its way out.”
This week, I shared a simple but powerful insight from The Map of Consciousness Explained by Hawkins — one that explains so much of the healing journey:
Love doesn’t just feel good. It also brings up everything in you that isn’t aligned with it.
When you choose love — real love, open-hearted love — the fear you’ve been carrying doesn’t disappear. It rises. Old patterns rise. Doubts rise. Emotional residue rises.
Not because something is wrong — but because something is releasing.
This is why people get confused during healing.
They start showing up with more presence, more compassion, more openness… and then suddenly all their old fear, irritation, grief, or insecurity comes to the surface.
But this isn’t backsliding.
It’s cleansing.
Love expands your system, and whatever can’t come with you gets pushed up and out.
So when fear comes forward, it doesn’t mean you’re failing.
It means you’re healing.
Instead of collapsing into the fear, this is the moment to stay in the vibration of love — to breathe, allow, and let the old energy clear.
Because the more you can stay open while the opposites arise, the faster they dissolve.
That’s how love transforms you.
