When the Mind Projects Fear

One of the biggest mistakes people make is believing that because their mind says something...it must be true.

But your mind is constantly producing thoughts.

Most of them happen automatically based on the state you're in.

When fear enters the system, the mind immediately starts looking for an explanation.

"What if this?"

"What if that?"

It projects fear onto the things you care about most.

The trap is believing the projection instead of recognizing the projector.

The more you analyze, ruminate, and perform compulsions around those thoughts, the more real they begin to feel.

But you're not feeding reality.

You're feeding an illusion.

Real recovery begins when you stop chasing the projection and start addressing the fear that's creating it.

That's where the loop finally begins to break.
