This Week in The Feel Better Letter 👇

âś… The fears you avoid today slowly begin to shrink your world.
âś… Small avoidances eventually become bigger compromises.
âś… Real freedom begins the moment you stop organizing your life around fear.
✅ New episode: Why OCD and Anxiety Help Feels Impossible — And What Actually Works

Matt's Message of the Week

What is Your Paris?

This week in TBC, we discussed a poem called See Paris First.

The core message is simple:

When you avoid fear, it expands.

At first, maybe you just avoid one thing.
One place.
One trigger.

But over time, the avoidance grows.

Your world gets smaller.
Your life becomes more confined.
And fear quietly starts making your decisions for you.

That’s what the poem captures so beautifully.

Because eventually, it’s no longer about Paris.

It’s about the prison fear creates around your life.

But when you decide to go directly toward your “Paris” instead of organizing your life around avoiding it… something changes.

The world opens back up.

That’s where freedom begins.
