When going through OCD & Anxiety Treatment it is so important to understand how we misinterpret intrusive thoughts and paradoxically give them power over our lives. When we have intrusive thoughts we often feel compelled to solve them or try to get rid of them. But when we do that we indirectly validate them as a "real" problem which paradoxically makes our brain keep producing them....
