How Does OCD develop? What Causes OCD?
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) features a pattern of unwanted thoughts called obsessions, that produce anxiety, which lead you to perform repetitive behaviors called compulsions. These obsessions and compulsions tend to get worse over time and can interfere with daily activities and cause significant distress.
In this video, I discussed how OCD develops specifically the four components that causes OCD to form. If you have friends and family members who are suffering from OCD, feel free to share this information with them to help spread awareness and education.
All right. Hey, my friend. And welcome to this episode where we're going to talk about how OCD develops in someone's life or, you know, essentially what causes OCD or obsessive compulsive disorder to develop. And, um, you know, what I,...
Understanding Mass Movements - A Cause & New Opportunity
This week we are going to tie up our series on mass movements.
In this third and final episode, I discuss the idea of how leaders of effective movements unite people under a new cause and new opportunity towards the future.
This is extremely important for a movement to gain momentum and cultivate a mass following.
Additionally, I discuss how the most effective mass movements will also set up the opportunity for people to self-identify with a movement, which enables them to fully embody a new ideology.
Hope you enjoy the show,

Understanding Mass Persuasion
Have you ever wondered how the art of persuasion works?
In this week’s episode, as we continue our series on mass movements, I am going to discuss a few techniques and tactics people use to persuade other people into taking action.
To be clear, persuasion is neither good or bad, it is simply the process of convincing someone to do or believe something. However, people (both good and bad) will use the same persuasive techniques to convince others to head down a certain path (both good and bad).

Understanding Mass Movements & Mass Manipulation
Have you ever wondered how a mass movement begins?
When you understand how mass psychology works you can begin to understand the fundamentals of any mass movement. A mass movement is neither good nor bad, it is simply a change or development on a large scale. However, the leaders of mass movements can dramatically determine the kind of impact and results (positive or negative) the movement creates.
It is important to understand those mass movements are not random, there is actually a specific pattern any movement worth noting follows, and today we are beginning a brand new series where we will dissect mass movements and mass manipulation.
There is nothing more sacred and powerful than your ability to think freely and make decisions based on your own values and critical reasoning. And in this series, we are going to discuss...
Anxiety & Resistance
In this episode, I discuss the idea of resistance, which is simply the unwillingness to accept or comply with what is currently happening. During this series, we've been talking about how we can best manage ourselves during this time of crisis. And the reality is that much of the pain and turmoil we experience comes from our resistance to the present moment. Resistance can add more layers of the problem and we are basically creating a domino effect on our community and to the rest of the world. So, it is right to manage our own emotions and practice self-mastery so we can deal greatly and properly with what is happening outside our control.
Alright. Hey my friends and welcome to another episode of the restored mind show. In this episode we're going to be talking about anxiety and resistance. So for those of you that don't know me, my name's Matt Codde and I'm a licensed clinical social...

OCD & Anxiety Treatment: Recovery is Possible
In this episode, I discuss the idea of recovery and why believing in recovery is so important. Your beliefs can help or hinder your recovery process. When a person is struggling with anxiety operates from the idea that recovery is possible, it can change her/his whole perspective and the path in his/her recovery process. OCD & Anxiety Treatment: The Lens of Anxiety
In this episode, I discuss the idea of the “lens of anxiety”. When someone is struggling with anxiety, there is a thin line between the real world and the world they are seeing skewed by anxiety. It’s like you see the world through a set of anxiety goggles or sunglasses. In this episode, I discuss the lens of anxiety and how important it is to develop awareness when you’re in the lens and to understand that you’re not seeing things how they really are.
